100 sailors have registered

Updated: Feb 2, 2021

Today participant number 100 signed up for Round Denmark Race inshore. That means that 44 boats have booked a berth in the harbour of Aarhus at midsummer 2021. It also means that we have boats in all categories.

10 boats are registered in the Fully Crewed categories. 14 teams have signed up for the 2Star challenge. And a fleet of an amazing 20 skippers are in for the singlehanded challenge. A clear statement leaving no doubt that Round Denmark Race started out as an event for singlehanded sailing exclusively.

When the day is 17 hrs and 40 min long ...

The race week is from June 20 to June 27 and on Monday June 21st the day will last for 17 hours 40 minutes - an increase compared to today of 10 hours and 45 minutes! And on top of that on Thursday June 24th we'll have a 100% full moon up and shining on the course from 22:29 to 03:47 ... the sun rises at 04:32.

"It's gonna to be epic!"

Merry X-mas and a happy New Year!
