The two final finishers are back in Aarhus. It was on the singlehanded inshore course that Norwegian Mikael Khei in Albin Nova Lady Stardust crossed the finishing line closely followed by female singlehanded sailor Dutch Madelon Kuiper in her Winner 9.50, Blis.

And what a finish it was. 7 days and 6 hrs and over 700 nautical miles of solo sailing it came down to a delta of only 6 minutes.

Outside the harbour Mikael Khei waited for Madelon Kuiper so they could dock in the marina in Aarhus for at common celebration. Both were very happy to make it back and especially happy about the last 24 hours where they were racing each other with Madelon narrowing Mikael's lead down to less that 0.7 NM at the end.
